Mala Sheri lied to me
Mala Sheri lied to me at the point of sale about an aspect of the contract that I didn't understand. She told me if I signed up for the Zero Vision 6 month trial then at the end of the trial I could cancel it and keep the door sensors. This seemed odd to me and contradictory to the literature but she assured me that "loads of other customers had signed up on the same basis". I took her word for it and duly signed the contract. Four months later I try to cancel the zero vision and I'm told they will come and remove the sensors... I raised this issue as a complaint and Malas manager, a guy called Simon rings me... Yes he says, I've spoken to Mala and she's admitted this I'm really sorry but I'm going to raise it with head office. Head office gets involved and I receive a call to say they've investigated it and Mala is now saying the opposite... and anyway a verbal agreement doesn't constitute a legally binding obligation therefore I can have six months more free or get stuffed. I feel I should get what I was sold by Mala. I will be raising this issue with Citizens Advice and if necessary Trading Standards. The cost is so negligible to them but yet they opt to try to screw me on a technicality as opposed to taking responsibility and honouring what their representative promised. Give me what I was promised and the review disappears.

Impressed
I had a system installed yesterday (17/12/20),very impressed with the speed of the installation, and with the installer, called Nathan. I have limited mobility, nothing was too much trouble for him. The equipment is of high quality, the installation was also high quality, definitely value for money.

I loved the videos they show you…
I loved the videos they show you because they're easier to remember. Not having numbers to remember is a bonus, you just use a fob. I feel so safe in my home and I know that if I am out and someone does try to break in my home is protected.

Take your money quick but terrible services
Been a customer with Verisure for about a month now. The consultant Jamie who came in to install the alarm, and CCTVs etc was good and explained everything well. However a week into the service we noticed the cameras were running out of batteries very quickly. We had to book a technician to attend to review the cameras which took over a week to get a slot for him to attend. On the day he was due to attend, he decided to show up a hour early which we said no as we were at work. Then he said he will come at the booked time slot and did not show up at all! Not even a phone call to advise us what was going on! Once they take your money they are absolutely rubbish! Also we pay monthly maintenance fees and Verisure isn't cheap so I would expect better services and definitely better cameras with battery that last more than a week! If this continue we may switch and go with ADT!

Nightmare
I have to be honest, my experience with verisure started off well, but of late it is shocking. To cancel, you cant simply call up and speak to a customer service agent. I cancelled on the 2nd of October, was told that the closure department will need to contact me in 14 days. No call. Of course, I have a fully functional voicemail facility, no messages. No way of contacting the closure department myself as they cant transfer me or give me a number. Again, Email sent, confirming i want to close, spole to adviser Katie, confirmed closed. 2 weeks later, the payments department calls, saying I owe for the time after initially closing account. Advised no. Rude payments clerk saying i need to call customer service. I ring customer service, speak to Shabanna, advised closing. Text saying Im due 2 months payment. I have had so much email correspondance, and only automated replies back. I was sold a package in 2018, they've changed the policy so much since then that there are better systems available at a much cheaper price. The protocols to leave make it so stresfull. If you want to be put on hold, listening to "walk 500 miles" on continuous loop isnt bad enough, wait until you speak to their payments advisors... I've sent another email to cancel, why do i need to speak to the closure department, i've told you my intentions, im not interested in retention, there is nothing your company can do for me after this experience.

I have installed a new system in my house yesterday 17/12/20. The process was easy and quick. The sales person and engineers were professionals and dealt with my case well. Spoken to Kane this morning during a welcome call from customer service. He was polite and knowledgeable, answered my questions very clearly.

Very happy to upgrade to Verisure!
We had a popular brand but old system and wanted to upgrade due to customer service issues. We found Verisure on the internet. On contacting the company and having a demo of what they had to offer, we decided to sign-up with them. The sale process and the installation process was smooth and professionally handled. Most security systems provide the required protection and monitoring service but Verisure is very modern - moving from an analog to digital with imagery included that helps speed up police response. We can now manage the system via our mobile phone app. The customer support too has been amazing compared to our previous provider. Still new but we are happy with what we got!

Pressure sales tactics
I requested a quote from Verisure via their website and this is where alarm bells should have started ringing. You will notice they always have a sale with a deadline (today it is 40% off if you install your alarm before 25th December 2020). However, if you go back after this deadline the same offer will appear with another deadline. I am pretty sure this practice is illegal. Putting that to one side, the sales representative visited my property. He was friendly and informative. However, this is where the pressure sales tactics start again... they start with a high list price number, and then magically discount, and say my manager has said I can give you this additional discount. Then the pressure mounts further, "if you install tomorrow" and "when can you install" and I will give you this additional discount. This is all rather old school and ultimately I ask myself would I trust these people with my parents or grandparents. Sadly, the answer is no and I would recommend staying away.

Just had the alarm fitted the salesman Derek was brilliant he came to my house showed me the product came back day after fitted it and then showed me how everything worked and helped me set my mobile app up everything went perfect highly recommended

Very pleased with the product and service
Very pleased with the product and service. Living on my own, I feel vulnerable in the evenings especially when it's dark in winter and also whenever I leave my house for a few days. I feel secure now knowing that I have security protection. Very good service from installer, Gary. Also received good after care service by phone from Liam.
