I have a very disappointing experience…
I have a very disappointing experience as a customer. An Engineer was booked, late by two days, attended job without completing the job and charged me in full cost, leaving the job in such a cold weather.

Emergency repair of my boiler - Great.
Although a lot of money, the service was fast and reliable. The engineer who called was really good. He knew what he was doing and has left me with a boiler that is now properly set up and so works better than it has ever done. I am a very happy man!

Conmen and Crooks
They sent a plumber to my property to repair a leak. He repaired the leak and damaged the flushing system. I called to complain and someone called Bradley, the supervisor insisted I have to pay for another engineer to come out and repair the flusher that was damaged by their own engineer. My recommendation is please be very weary and think twice before you pick up the phone to call Able Group. I will never use them again. You cant even get through to them on the phone.

I am very impressed by the excellent service offered by Able Group. I required a pest control service and I was very pleased by the speed of response and the reasonable price.. The gentleman who came to respond to the pest control issue was very knowledgeable, professional and courteous. I will certainly recommend Able's service and will use them again in future

DRAINS
The man who came to rectify my drain problem was Craig. He was very polite efficient and helpful, keeping me informed of what he was finding all through the work. I can't speak highly enough of him.

The Able Group - Amazing work!
I had a toilet that wasn’t flushing properly and discovered that I had a blocked drain, I contacted the Able group and they sent out a guy the next day! He managed to resolve the issue with about 30 Meters of hose, guy was an Absolute legend and whatever he’s paid, it’s not enough! Would highly recommend this company!

job was not even completed!!!! what a joke
I called Able group on 13/01/21 to book for a gas engineer to come out and uncap and connect my gas cooker. They quoted me £132 and did not mention that it excludes materials and VAT. My appointment was meant to be on 14/01/21 between 9-1pm, got a call on 14/01/21 saying it now changed to between 3-5pm as engineer cannot make it. The engineer came where by he thought he was only connecting the gas cooker and confirmed that Able Group did not let him know its also to uncap the pipe. The engineer went away to get the materials needed and came back to uncap the pipe. However my gas cooker is still not connected. What I am disappointed at is, the engineer did not know why no gas was coming out from the uncapped pipe and stated hes unsure and left without trying to solve the problem - the bill came up to £192. When Able Group confirmed on the phone when i was booking it - £132. I called Able group on the same day after the engineer left whereby they said someone call me back, I did not hear from them so I decided to call again on 15/01/21, the guy i spoke with said he will raise this as an urgent request for someone to look at, its now been 4 hours and no call back. I therefore decided to call again and all I got back was someone will call you back and that i need to get a new quote for another gas engineer to come out and have a look. WHAT A JOKE of a company!!!! 15/01/21 at 3.10pm someone from the company called and left a voice mail saying how they are going to be off until Monday but they can offer me 15% discount for a gas engineer to come out again to uncap another pipe outside the house. Why should i pay more money when your original engineer who was meant to do the job didnt? Also the engineer did not say there is a pipe outside, we even went out at the back of the house and front to look but there was no pipes capped!! I called back straight away yet the person that called me was now off work until Monday, why call me right at the end of your shift? When i called you guys on 15/01/21 at 8.30am yet no one got back to me at all until 3.10pm?? This has literally been the most stressful experience paid all this money yet my gas cooker is still not connected. If this does not get sorted i will be taking it to the financial ombudsman services.

Had a blocked drain mid afternoon.. Called up and got appointment with 4 hr time slot for same day.. They did arrive a bit late but the chap called to advise me he was on the drag.. Within about an hour it was all sorted.. Nice friendly fella and I recommend highly if you're stuck..

On New Years Eve the ball cock in my loft's tank was stuck and over flowing from the overflow onto my flat roof and freezing.
